Luis González: Nature and Texture

Nature expressionism is Luis González art language. His work full of a vibrant color palette, texture and unusual mix media intervention in his paintings, are key of a very diverse environment regarding the Caribbean light and nature. His style is audacious and challenging in face of the diversity of styles of other artists, something that makes it unique.

With a long career where his works are part of the most prestigious collections of Caribbean, Latin American and international art, Julian Espinal Art Project has the honor to represent in the United States this great Puerto Rican artist. Enjoy!

My works are an approach to nature over the extended stain of color...
Nature has always been a constant in my creative process and evidence a different search toward abstraction. Through my work I want to express my emotions emphasizing the color and texture with a gesture stroke so that the observer receives the visual impact, in addition to creating vividness as a celebration of the earth and its flora.
What is fundamental is what the artist perceives and expresses, not to copy nature but to interpret it, something more expressive and provocative that in my works reflect a warm, cold and rainy atmosphere, highlighting the texture with different media, such as molding paste and fiber Glass, using spatula and dripping.

Noel Ortiz: Utopic Landscapes

Julian Espinal Art Project Exclusive Artist in the United States

Through the decomposition, in the good sense of the word, Noel immerses us in a journey of colors with its utopian landscapes, which are part of his artistic language.

Despite being a successful chemical engineer and also a professor at the Polytechnic University of San Juan, Noel has always the restlessness and the need to express himself artistically, he has managed to maintain a harmonious coexistence between his work and art.

The palette of colors in each of his works, faithfully represents the magical colors of the Caribbean, rich in the light of the sun that illuminates the environment. We are proud to present his work and represent him in the United States.

“It is always my intention to address the canvas directly, honestly, and boldly. My heart is always pushing me to find new language for expression. The result, therefore, is not just an intellectual exercise for me: it is being involved in the “now,” always open for change and challenge, always evolving.”

Miño

Julian Espinal Art Project Exclusive Artist in the United States

This is the genesis...
Starting today we are going to showcase in this space our exclusive group of Latin American and international artists as part from our art project.

Born in 1950 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Miño Reyes began his interest and activity in the world of painting at an early age, in secondary school. His first teachers were the highly recognized local artists Emilia Somoza and Myrna Baez. As his talent flowered, he entered into the advertising business, becoming in only a few years a Creative Senior Art Director in major local and international ad agencies.

Always passionate with painting. Miño Reyes continued his artistic development, evolving both in skills and techniques. His artistic expression is now reaching a magnificent realization of diverse
textures, color and forms. In Puerto Rico, Mr. Reyes has participated in numerous collective expositions with other local but internationally well-known artists. He also has staged very successful solo expositions, including several funding collection exhibits to help non-profitable organizations.

His recent Solo Show (February 9, 2017) as part of the Dionne Warwick concert at Centro de Bellas Artes in Puerto Rico.  Presenting a collection named "The Rock Band", that consist in six paintings.
